How to Enable or Disable Do Not Disturb on Your iPhone

Introduction

With the introduction of Focus settings in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, users have gained enhanced control over their device notifications. One important feature within Focus is Do Not Disturb, which allows you to silence calls and silence or block other disturbances.

Enabling and Disabling Do Not Disturb

To enable Do Not Disturb, go to the Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of your screen. Tap the Focus icon, then select Do Not Disturb. You can also enable it through the Settings app by navigating to Focus > Do Not Disturb and toggling it on.

To disable Do Not Disturb, follow the same steps and toggle it off.

Identifying When Do Not Disturb is Active

When Do Not Disturb is active, you will see a crescent moon icon in the status bar. Additionally, your lock screen will display a message indicating that Do Not Disturb is enabled.
